Sheridan White Limited hereafter referred to as “The Company” advertises goods for sale through the internet, through direct marketing and catalogues, and through retail outlets.

A person, partnership or company wishing to purchase goods, hereafter referred to as “the Customer”, is encouraged to read these terms and conditions carefully and to accept them before placing any order. The terms are subject to change without prior notice, and the customer is therefore advised to read these terms periodically so as to be made aware of any changes.

The terms and conditions herein apply to customers in the UK mainland only. Additional terms and conditions apply where either the delivery address or the invoice address are outside of the UK mainland. A copy of these additional terms is available on request.

The terms and conditions apply to all transactions whether placed on-line, by telephone or fax, by post or verbally.

The placing of an order indicates the customer’s acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Submission of an order by a customer will be deemed as an offer to purchase the goods at the stated price. The company will contact the customer to confirm acceptance of the offer and to arrange for payment by a mutually agreeable means. The company will make all reasonable efforts to contact the customer for this purpose, and within a reasonable timescale; but the customer agrees that the offer is not accepted until such contact is made and payment terms agreed.

All goods must be paid for in full, including any delivery charges and surcharges, before despatch unless another written agreement is made between the customer and the company.

Advertised prices are subject to change without notice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the price to be charged will be that ruling at the time of despatch to the customer. No price list of the company, whether published or not, shall affect the right of the company to charge for the goods in accordance with this clause.

The company and the customer agree that until the company has received fully cleared payment for the goods.

(a) Title to the goods shall remain with the company and the customer shall hold the goods as a bailee and be fully accountable to the company in respect thereof until such time as the company has received full payment for all goods supplied.

(b) As bailer of the goods, the company, by its employees or agents, shall (without prejudice to the buyer's continuing fiduciary obligations) be entitled to enter upon or into any land, buildings or vehicles where the goods, delivered to the buyer under this contract together with any interest or any other sum payable in respect of the goods under this contract, or part of them, are situated or are reasonably thought to be situated, to retake possession of the same.

All products supplied by the company are covered only by the terms and conditions of the original manufacturers Guarantee, and the company makes no other warrantees to the goods beyond the customer’s statutory rights.

The delivery charges quoted apply to delivery within the UK mainland. Delivery outside of this area will be subject to negotiation; the company will contact the customer to discuss and agree these charges before accepting the order.

Delivery will be subject to availability, but the company undertakes to communicate excessive delays to the customer at the earliest opportunity.

Shortages, errors and damaged goods must be notified to the company within two business days from receipt.

Damaged goods, including their packaging, must be retained by the customer for collection and inspection by the company for at least 7 business days after delivery, unless otherwise instructed in writing by the company.

Acceptance of cancellation of an order shall be at the discretion of the company and any such acceptance may be subject to payment by the buyer of a cancellation charge.

If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 7 days from date of receipt for a refund (excluding delivery charges and surcharges). You must then return the goods to our address at your own expense, unopened and in a resalable condition. We reserve the right to deem the goods used, and make a reasonable offer or reject the goods if they are not in perfect condition. In the event that the goods are rejected, the company may return the goods to the customer subject to payment of any additional delivery charges deemed appropriate.

The company will not normally accept returns of consumable items or reproducible items such as computer software or music CDs unless they are totally satisfied that the goods are faulty and that they have not been copied or misused.

Except as may be implied by law and except in the case of death or personal injury where the customer is dealing as a consumer, in the event of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by the company the remedies to the customer shall be limited to damages which shall in no circumstances exceed the price of the Goods and the company shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

The company will not accept any liability whatsoever in the event that they are prevented or delayed from supplying or making delivery of any Goods by any reason or cause beyond their control.
